Travel cancellation and interruption insurance Easy Way Back

Individual insurance of travel cancellation and interruption Easy Way Back is an insurance that protects you against incurring contractual penalties related to resignation or interruption of a foreign travel lasting no more than 92 days.

The insurance can cover not only travels abroad offered by travel agencies, but also those organized on your own, so you can get a refund, for booking a hotel or renting a vehicle etc.

Insurance events cover both the insured and a co-traveller:

PRIVATE EVENTS
  • • Accident
  • • Sudden illness
  • • Death incl. death resulting from Sudden deterioration of chronic disease
  • • Death of a Close person (incl. chronic disease) up to 45 days before the travel and during travel
  • • Determination by Polish Health Institute of a stay in sanatorium
  • • Complications related to the pregnancy (up to 32 W)
  • • Childbirth
LEGAL EVENTS
  • • Mandatory subpoena to appear in the court
  • • Summons to resit examination, necessary to continue education
RANDOM EVENTS
  • • Burglary, Fire, Flood or Natural disaster occurring in the place of residence
  • • Car accident or theft of the car
  • • Theft of ID documents needed for the Foreign travel
  • • Terrorist attack in the place of Travel
  • • WHO pandemic alert in the place of Travel
  • • Natural disaster in the place of Travel
PROFESSIONAL EVENTS
  • • Damage as a result of Burglary, Robbery or Fire in the workplace
  • • Determination by the employer of a new job starting date registered earlier in the Labor Office as an unemployed person
  • • Loss of employment

As of March 1, 2020 insurance was withdrawn from sale.
